November

A child's journey towards literacy involves
learning to speak, listen, read, understand, watch,
draw and write.
The foundation for building these skills begin at birth.

Everyday activities like going to the store or library, as well as
special treats, trips to the museum or zoo, all provide lots
of opportunity for literacy development.

Oz checking out a good book!

Playing games with Oz and Aubree

Coloring is always fun stuff.

The weather early this week has been amazing.
We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute we could
outside with our friends.

This is Brooklyn! She used to come here for preschool.
Brooklyn started when she was just one year old, And
graduated from ABC headed to Kindergarten.
She has been living out of town and had the opportunity to
come and visit the other day. I was so pleasantly surprised.
Brooklyn I have thought of you often and was so happy
that you stopped by.

Happy Halloween

With the Holidays approaching we have so many fun crafts to do!
Stories to read! and games to play,
Fun times to share while building relationships
with our friends.

Importance of Children's friendships
At any age, having friends provides support and promotes mental health
and well-being. Children's friendships are also very important
for their social and emotional development.
Through friendships children can learn how to relate with others.
They develop social skills as they teach each other how to be good friends.
This is how it's done!

Building Literacy Skills Through Art!
The use of arts and crafts helps children build literacy skills
in a fun, hands-on, relaxed environment.

Little Artists!

The children get so excited making crafts and being
able to call it their own! Boosts their confidence in so many ways.
