Day Outside

We have some new additions to our classrooms and some are very small. We love getting to know new friends and including them in our classroom family. From left to right, Ryder, Dylon, Lily, Aaron, Gavin, Ivy Jane, Myla and Sofia. Just adorable and so much energy!. With this awesome weather we have had the last couple of days we have spent good time outside playing running and enjoying fresh air.

Not to little to start learning to play together and learn the names of our letters. Good job little ones.

We are exploring new ways of having a fun time learning here with some of our bigger kids, tracing letters, our names, and learning sight words and how to read a few on the IPad.

 Good outside play time, Dylon and Aaron are brothers and are just getting to know us here at ABC.
Our other outside friend that came to introduce himself to us is Amber's little dogie. His name is Max
and he loves loves loves children, he was born last November so still being a pup he has lots of energy and gets very excited. Max and Amber will be moving to Norfolk Virginia in 10 days, we will miss Amber so much. And Max!

Valentine's

First of all my apologizes for not keeping this blog up.

It has not only been busy but crazy with all the bad

weather we have been having, and kids missing and of course the

vacation I went on lol. Don't want to rub it in so ill stop, although

it was 70 degrees and warmest in Honduras, Belize and Cozumel.

Back to the kiddo's...This week our themes are

Valentine's Day and Dental Health.

We have worked on projects that are beautiful and express our love

and learning the facts of keeping our teeth clean.

One song we have been singing at school

Sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells"

Brush your teeth, brush your teeth,

Each and every day.

Brushing makes your teeth shiny

And keeps cavities away!

We will also continue our Dental Health along with

Healthy Happy Eating!.

Valentine's Card Exchange on Friday as we party on

for Valentine's Day. February 14th!!

Today we baked sugar cookies and had so much fun

decorating them. Here comes some pictures of the kids

it was fun having celebrating his birthday today at school.

Killian is still trying to wake up i think.

Killian turned 4 yrs old yesterday.

He had a big party last night at his mommy's

and was partied out.

Such a beautiful afternoon, and we spent some time outside

Cutting and Glueing

Today we have been busy and having a great time with

cutting pasting and enjoying our friends

Ivy Jane is experiencing with glue the fun white stuff

that sticks all over your fingers and fun to peal off.

Gavin is trying to figure out how to make these scissors work!

He knows the concept of getting the paper in between the blades

and it cuts paper

Little Ivy Jane is having fun.

Ms Betty from the Boone Co. Library called today and wants to

come read to the children on Monday at 10am and Friday at 10am.

We are so glad she is coming twice in one week.

We have missed her for a few weeks and she misses the kids terribly.

Tuesday is Christmas Caroling at First Federal Bank and

this is also Graydens 3rd Birthday!!!

Wednesday we will be baking and decorating Christmas Sugar Cookies!

And our exchange gifts will need to be brought in by Wednesday if possible.

Thursday will be our Christmas Party!!!

If you would like to join in on the Christmas Caroling we will be leaving

school at 10 am.
